Course overview
 By the end of the course, the learners will know the concepts of Bioenergetics like high energy compounds and ATP. know about ethalpy and entropy. 
They will learn about Electron transport chain, its components and ATP synthesis
They understand the fundamentals of cellular metabolism of lipids

What will i learn?

  • The students will explain the definitions of enthalpy, entropy and free energy.
  • They will understand about high energy compounds and thier importance
  • Students will learn the detailed strucutre of mitochondria and the importane of each of tis components
  • students will be able to explain the carriers and complexes of Electron transport chain
  • Illustrate how ATP is being synthesized and the ways of its inhibition
  • Explain lipid metabolism and related disorders
